Grant Guidelines for Organizations

The Chemical Bank Foundation is a private grant-making foundation established in 2012 by Chemical Bank. Chemical Bank believes that corporate responsibility includes making a long-term commitment – to our communities, to our employees, and to future generations. The Chemical Bank Foundation was established to support the quality of life in the communities we serve. The Foundation makes grants to organizations that are screened and selected by Foundation trustees; furthermore, grants will be considered for organizations that operate within Chemical Bank’s defined markets and are intended to support capital projects, specific program costs, and seed monies for new programs and initiatives.

The Chemical Bank Foundation reviews grants two times annually. Grant proposal application dates and deadlines for 2014 are:

May 15, 2014 - June 15, 2014

November 15, 2014 - December 15, 2014

Grants will be made to organizations that have been determined to be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service. Our grant-making focus is restricted to communities that Chemical Bank serves. We do not make grants to individuals, nor will grants be made to sectarian religious activities, general operating budgets, capital or annual campaigns, endowments, political or lobbying activities.
