Chemical Bank Foundation Information
Chemical Bank believes corporate responsibility includes making a long-term commitment – to our state, to our employees and to future generations. To reinforce that commitment, in 2012, we established the Chemical Bank Foundation, which will help us to better organize, prioritize and execute our corporate giving over the long-term.
The Foundation will award grants for a variety of worthy endeavors designed to improve the quality of life throughout the Michigan communities we serve. We believe the Foundation will serve to complement the thousands of volunteer hours and ongoing financial support our employees and Chemical Bank provide to a variety of community and statewide charitable outreach and civic programs.
The Chemical Bank Foundation will allow us to better prioritize the financial support we provide our communities with, and importantly will enable us to consider larger scale projects that are focused on improving the quality of life across the communities we serve. The Chemical Bank Foundation will act in the same way that many other Foundations do.
On a periodic basis, the Foundation will request Grant Applications from members of our community and will evaluate each submission based on a pre-defined set of criteria to determine how to best award grant funds.
